I worked with Mel at a wonderful Somerset wedding in June. She is totally brilliant at what she does and made the ceremony a stress free experience for me, as the celebrant. Highly recommended.

We booked Mel to be our on the day coordinator for our wedding in May. As well as being fantastic on the day, helping to set up and ensuring it all went smoothly, she also took the vendors off our hands a few weeks prior to the wedding leaving us to focus on ourselves in the build up and using a WhatsApp group chat to keep us updated. We were apprehensive that there would be enough to keep Mel busy and make it worth her time initially, however by the end of the day we realised how helpful, useful and crucial to the smooth running of things she was and we wouldn't of done it without her! We cannot recommend her enough - thank you Mel!

Mel was our coordinator for our church and marquee wedding at home in April 2024. We initially hadn’t thought that we needed a coordinator but we have both said that hiring Mel was one of the BEST decisions we made. In the run up to the wedding Mel was extremely helpful with liaising with our suppliers and they all said how good she was to deal with; she called them individually ahead of the day to introduce herself, organised all their arrival times, met them on site on the day, and was effectively their go-to person which took all the pressure off us. She also made suggestions and reminded us to do certain things in the lead up to the wedding which was so helpful. On the day she did a lot to make the marquee look beautiful and ready, for example laying up all the tables and putting out all the name cards according to our table pla. She also made sure that our band got fed and fixed an issue with their accommodation due to my mistake! As well as many many other things she did on the day. Overall Mel was a pleasure to work with and an absolute pro. She was punctual, organised and calm, made the day run like clockwork, and always offered to help out wherever she could, for example offering to drive our bridesmaids to the church. Wow Mel. If you are looking for a wedding planner / coordinator look no further. Mel made our day run smoothly, she helped with every single detail and ensuring any problems we was unaware of. Mel was our wedding coordinator for our at-home wedding in July and she was incredible. She went totally above and beyond both before and throughout the day. I’ve never known anyone to work so hard! Mel liaised with all of our suppliers prior to the wedding to work out timing (which wasn’t easy given the logistics and how many suppliers we had: tipi, electrics, toilets, catering, cake, flowers, photographer, videographer, band and a musician). During the lead up, Mel kept on top of all the details and came up with loads of things we hadn’t even thought of, but was totally critical to the day! During the day, Mel arrived early and started to set up the tipis. She was then at the church for the service, coordinating everything for us, then back to the reception and was our master of ceremonies. She made sure the day ran like clockwork so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. She even managed to get some more jäger when we ran out half way through the night!!! I’d recommend Mel to anyone who is either planning an at-home wedding, or just would like an extra pair of safe hands who knows exactly what to do!
