Redrow dream (show home) vs reality (sold homes). The shared areas across the development are neglected, overgrown and an eyesore. Email after email, nothing changes.

Lisa at Great Oldbury was extremely welcoming and helpful, nothing appeared too much trouble. Loved the Shaftesbury but sadly not building them on the development I am interested so will look at other options with Redrow

The show homes are great going to Newport this week as house were interested in no show home of this stye unfortunately in stonehouse, sales lady was lovely helpful and very knowledgeable

Beautiful house! Loved the design. Very impressed by the quality of everything. The lady who showed us round, Lisa, was very informative, thorough, and friendly. We are still considering this property.

We reserved a Harrogate in August 2020 and Louise, Katie and Lisa were all really helpful. I had some reservations as was looking for an established house, but I'm so glad we bought here as the house is stunning with excellent space in all rooms, and the plot is perfect for us. We even had a compliment from the professional snagger (Housescan) who said it was the 2nd best property he'd reviewed in the previous year. Post sales Redrow have generaly been good but on occassion we have had to chase for updates. To top it off, the community Great Oldbury is excellent!

Came to view a show home as serious buyers. Have fallen in love with the house, and would be in a position to move in once building work is completed! However, as our home is not yet sold, we are prevented by Barratt Homes from proceeding any further. This is despite the fact that the home build wouldn't even be finished until February 2022 at the earliest! And funds available to secure as a deposit. Process seems rather ridiculous when they even suggest that you would have to move out of your old home and rent (which is near enough impossible in today's market with pets, but also ridiculously expensive), but yet can't even reserve the home with a minimum of 7 months until moving in!

I visited Great Oldbury, Nupend on Monday 23/08/21; Lisa was exceptionally helpful and friendly; a credit to Redrow Homes. I went to visit two show-homes, the "Harrogate" and the "Shaftesbury". The downstairs layout of the "Harrogate" was very disappointing, especially how small the lounge was, bearing in mind I want a Family Home, for the size of the property, it requires a complete re-design. The "Shaftesbury" was far superior in design, however I like open spaces and countryside and the plots available were unsuitable. The only plot I would possibly be interested in purchasing would be the show-home, but only on the assurance that nothing else would be constructed around it. The build quality of the properties was excellent and I would be interested in purchasing the "Shaftesbury" show-home when it becomes available.
